6th Coin Conference Goes to Amsterdam

After a three year gap, the Coin Conference returns this October to Amsterdam, in what will be the sixth edition of the event, and the only one of its kind to focus on coins as part of cash strategies in circulation from the perspective of currency issuers.

As such, the Coin Conference provides a dedicated forum for those involved in the issue and management of circulating coins – central banks and treasuries, mints and suppliers of materials and equipment for production, handling, processing, verification, counting, distribution and recovery – to discuss and share ideas in a series of sessions covering all the key aspects of the worldwide circulating coin industry.

Key topics covered in the programme will include optimal denominational structures, removing lower denominations, improving redemption, best practice circulation strategies, coin cycle policies, seigniorage, the note/coin boundary, forecasting, maintaining public confidence, accessibility, sustainability and the social and economic benefit of coins.
